I bought my first digital camera in 2003 and got hooked on photography immediately after that. It helped that I was living in China at the time and wanted to shoot everything I saw.

I'm lucky enough to do a fair bit of traveling, and often have new subjects to shoot. Living on Vancouver Island also offers a lot of beauty to shoot, but I don't take advantage of it as much as I should - but I am getting out more on the Island now.
